Smartphone Signal Analysis is an iPhone application for engineers to evaluate network performance. Network measurement tools previously available on the market were using devices different from typical end user device, therefore unable to truly simulate the end user experience. Since the SSA is an application on the smartphone, it will reflect most accurate end user experience and truly put the engineers in the shoes of the subscribers.
Coiler SSA can be used for WCDMA/HSPA, GSM/GPRS, and WiFi testing. With its Auto Call Test Plan, the user would be able to take measurements of five different categories: Voice, DL FTP, UL FTP, HTTP, and VOD. The tests can be done in any indoor or outdoor environment and record data along a route you travel either by foot or even by car. A full analysis report is generated right on your smartphone once a test is complete. The data recorded can also be displayed with real-time outdoor mapping using the built-in map from the smartphone or customized indoor mapping.
